Welcome to my family's work!
I'm Elijah Edwards, a 23-year-old student, aspiring author, Spanish National Sambo Champion, MMA, and Jiu-Jitsu fighting fanatic, artist, and as a strange twist of fate art and art dealer. I moved to Valencia, Spain from New York City over two years ago and since day 1 have been working to spread the influence, beauty and charisma of my grandparent's work. Being an art dealer is about sharing the ambiance within art with the people who can appreciate and love the pieces. Any old chap off the street can possess art, but my job is to ensure they treat the work with the respect it deserves, spotting the sentiment within the canvas to enjoy a piece fully. I grew up surrounded by the influence of Chinese Brush Painting(in my grandmother's case) and oil painting(in my grandfather's). I became infatuated with the idea of spreading messages through color and form, not word. I traveled all over the United States as a kid, and thus unfortunately didn't spend as much time as I would have liked with my grandparents. Through personal exploration of their art, I've begun to puzzle together the fascinating characters they are and were.

Soy Elijah Edwards, un estudiante de 23 años, aspirante a autor, Campeón Nacional de Sambo en España, fanático de las peleas de MMA y Jiu-Jitsu, artista y, de manera curiosa, también un negociante de arte. Me mudé a Valencia, España, desde la ciudad de Nueva York hace más de dos años y desde el primer día he estado trabajando para difundir la influencia, la belleza y el carisma del trabajo de mis abuelos. Ser un negociante de arte consiste en compartir la atmósfera dentro del arte con las personas que pueden apreciar y amar las piezas. Cualquier persona puede poseer arte, pero mi trabajo es asegurarme de que traten la obra con el respeto que merece, percibiendo el sentimiento dentro del lienzo para disfrutar plenamente de una pieza. Crecí rodeado de la influencia de la Pintura China con Pincel (en el caso de mi abuela) y la pintura al óleo (en el caso de mi abuelo). Me enamoré de la idea de transmitir mensajes a través del color y la forma, no de las palabras. Viajé por todo Estados Unidos cuando era niño, y lamentablemente no pasé tanto tiempo como me hubiera gustado con mis abuelos. A través de la exploración personal de su arte, he comenzado a armar el rompecabezas de los fascinantes personajes que son y fueron.
